Refund policy

Unused credits

You can request a full refund on any unused credit within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Email us the Paddle transaction id from your receipt and we will process the refund through Paddle to your original payment method.

Failed processing runs

If a processing job fails after two automatic retries — e.g. because of a corrupt upload or an unrecoverable upstream error — Retakeless returns the consumed credit to your balance automatically. You will see the credit back on your dashboard and a failure email explaining what went wrong.

Consumed credits

Credits consumed by a successfully completed job (i.e. a job that produced a downloadable FCPXML) are not refundable — the processing costs (transcription + LLM) were incurred at your request. If the output quality is unusable, email us within seven (7) days with the job id and a short description of the issue; we review those cases individually and may grant a goodwill credit or refund.

How to request a refund

  1. Open the Paddle receipt email and copy the transaction id.
  2. Email hello@retakeless.com with the transaction id and a one-line reason.
  3. We confirm within two business days and issue the refund via Paddle.

Refunds appear on the original card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
