What we collect

Retakeless collects the minimum needed to run the service: your email address, a hashed password (or a Google OAuth identifier), the video files you upload, the scripts you paste in, and the timestamps / status of each processing job you create. We do not collect analytics or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

Uploaded videos and scripts are used solely to produce the FCPXML timeline you requested. We do not train models on your footage, nor share it with anyone other than the two processing APIs listed below.

Third-party processors

• ElevenLabs (Scribe) — receives a copy of the audio track of your video for transcription.
• OpenRouter → Anthropic Claude — receives the transcription text and your script for matching.
• Paddle — handles payment; receives your billing details, not your video.
• Resend — delivers transactional email (verification, completion). Receives your email address and the message subject / body.

Retention

Uploaded video files are automatically deleted seven (7) days after your FCPXML is produced. The FCPXML itself, the word-level transcription, and your job history remain available in your account until you delete it. Account deletion removes all associated files and records.

Cookies

We set a single session cookie after you log in, plus a CSRF cookie required by the browser's same-origin POST protection. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing the address below. Account deletion is handled within 30 days.
